The platform is available on the web at horsesourceusa.com, on Android via Google Play, and on iOS via the App Store.

Information We Do Not Collect

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only to:

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

5. Our Commitment: We Never Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. This applies to all users — horse owners and service providers alike.

6. How We Share Information

The following Service Provider listing information is intentionally public within the app and on the website, because it is the core purpose of the marketplace:

We do not share personal account information (email address or password) with other users or with any third party, except as described in Section 7 (Third-Party Services).

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate HorseSource USA. Each has its own privacy policy governing their data practices:

8. Data Security

Provider accounts are protected by Firebase Authentication, which uses industry-standard encryption for passwords. Listing data is stored in Google Firestore with access rules that prevent unauthorized reads or writes. We do not store sensitive personal data on our own servers.

While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold.

9. Data Retention

Provider listing data is retained as long as the account is active. If you wish to delete your account and have your listing removed, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete your data within 30 days.

Horse owners who only browse the app do not create an account and no personal data is stored on our servers.

10. Age Requirement & Children's Privacy

Service Provider accounts (paying vendors). Service Provider accounts are restricted to users 18 years of age or older. Creating a Service Provider account requires entering into a binding subscription agreement and submitting valid payment information. Stripe, our payment processor, independently verifies the cardholder during checkout and enforces its own age requirements. By creating a Service Provider account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the credit card used belongs to you.

Browsing the platform. Browsing the HorseSource USA platform — whether on the web or in our mobile apps — does not require an account, and we do not collect personal information from horse owners who use the app to search for services. The platform is suitable for users of all ages who are interested in equine services, subject to the children's-privacy provisions below.

Children under 13 (COPPA). HorseSource USA does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The platform is not directed at children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it as soon as practicable.

Removal of unauthorized accounts. If we become aware that a Service Provider account has been created by a person under the age of 18, we will promptly suspend the account, delete any personal information collected from that account, and refund any subscription paid for the affected period in accordance with our refund practices. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has created an account should contact us at [email protected] so we can investigate and remove the account.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information, so the opt-out right does not apply — but all other rights are available by contacting us.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify active provider accounts by email. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
